While trying to delete records using web service API, we get an error stating "Oracle crm on demand Cannot perform DeleteRecord on the business component 'Action'(SBL-EAI-04421)"
Cause:
In sufficient access privilege for the role assigned to the user trying to delete the records
I faced the above issue while trying to delete Activity records using the webservices. It got resolved when I added the sufficient privilege for deletion of Activity record.
Resolution:
You can go to Admin > User Management and Access Controls > Role Management
Click on the role for the user and say "Edit"
Click Next until you reach "Step 4"
